Megan Roesler enters her first season as an assistant coach for the Golden Bears volleyball team. A Twin Cities native, Roesler is a graduate of Cretin-Derham Hall High School, where she was a three-time letterwinner and team captain. She comes to Concordia after coaching the freshman Raiders last season.
Roesler competed at the collegiate level at St. Mary's University in Winona, Minn. She was voted All-MIAC as a junior after posting a career high 324 kills and leading the Cardinals with a .273 hitting mark. She also had 42 aces, 104 digs and 88 blocks that season.
Roesler is working toward a degree in English Literature. She tours the region working camps in the summer and also coaches the Northern Heat JO team. She lives on Cathedral Hill in St. Paul and is a barista at a local coffee house. She keeps green by driving a blue scooter.
