Sep. 29 - MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The Concordia softball team wrapped up their fall schedule with an exciting 6-4 win over the Golden Gophers of the University of Minnesota on Sunday afternoon.  The Golden Bears take their ten hits into continued off-season workouts before opening the 2009 season on February 14.

Aug. 28 - Concordia softball head coach, Bob Bartel, has announced that Natalie Mast and Anna Bjorlin will serve as team captains for the upcoming 2009 season.  This is the first time that the Golden Bears have named team captains.

May. 08 - Concordia sophomore Anna Bjorlin (Hermantown, MN) has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District third team.  The district, which consists of NCAA II, NCAA III, and NAIA school from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois and Indiana, was voted on by sports information directors from schools within the district. 

May. 08 - Concordia sophomore Abby Brudidge (Neekoosa, WI) added another award to her season resume as she was named to the Daktonics All-North Central Region first team at the designated player position. The All-Region team is voted on by the Sports Information Directors from the North Central Region of Division II.

May. 08 - Concordia sophomore Abby Brudidge (Neekoosa, WI) was named to the 2008 Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division II All-Region Team voted on by the coaches and announced today.  She was selected as the top utility/non-pitcher in the North Central Region.
