Mar. 14 - ORLANDO, Fla. - The Golden Bear softball team (10-6) wrapped up its spring trip to Florida with two final wins on Saturday.  They pulled out the second eight-inning victory of the season with a 3-2 decision over Wisconsin-Parkside and then walked away from the Rebel Spring Games with a 6-2 win over Ferris State.  The team had a very successful trip, going 9-3 overall and return to Minnesota with the NSIC season scheduled to start up in the beginning of April.  UWP BOX SCORE  -  FSU BOX SCORE

Mar. 12 - ORLANDO, Fla. - Concordia's two games slated for today have been cancelled due to heavy rain in the Orlando area.  The Golden Bears, at 8-6 on the season, have two games remaining on their spring trip, taking on Wisconsin-Parkside and Ferris State on Saturday.

Mar. 11 - ORLANDO, Fla. - The Golden Bear softball team (8-6) has earned a day of rest from action at the Rebel Spring Games, putting up a 7-3 record so far on the trip.  Their time in Florida is winding down, however, and just two days and four games remain on the slate.  The Golden Bears have had an up-and-down past two days, going 2-2 with sweeps both days.  Senior Anna Bjorlin has paced the team at the plate in the four games, going 9-of-14 for a .643 average.  She has sent out four doubles in the process.  All four CU pitchers have seen action, with junior Stephanie Schmikla throwing 14 of the 27 innings and Cassye McMahon dishing out a complete game win in her appearance.  IUP BOX SCORE  -  STONEHILL BOX SCORE  -  ASHLAND BOX SCORE  -  SIU BOX SCORE

Mar. 08 - ORLANDO, Fla. - The Concordia University softball team improved to 6-4 on the season with two wins posted today at the Rebel Spring Games in Orlando, Florida.  The squad pulled out a 3-2 win over Northern Kentucky in eight innings and followed up with a 4-2 win over #15 California University of Pennsylvania.  The squad has gone 5-1 so far on its spring break trip with eight more games on slate before they return to Minnesota.  NKU BOX SCORE  - CAL PA BOX SCORE

Mar. 07 - ORLANDO, Fla. - Concordia University's softball team used big swings to go 2-0 on the day at the Rebel Spring Games, defeating Lock Haven and Clarion University to even out at 4-4 on the year.  A Calli Brennan walk-off three-run home run ended the first game of the day with a 5-2 win, while a whopping 15 hits in the second game brought on a 9-1 victory.  LHU BOX SCORE  -  CU BOX SCORE
