Jul. 09 - NORMAN, Okla. - Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholars for Division I, II and the NAIA have been announced by the GCAA. Concordia University junior Nick Jarrett (Woodbury, Minn.) was one of 55 Division II men's golfers to be selected to the prestigious team. To be eligible for the honor, an individual must be a junior or senior academically, compete in at least two full years at the collegiate level, participate in 70% of his team's competitive rounds or compete in the NCAA Championships, have a stroke average under 78.0 (DII level) and maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or better. May. 20 - LEXINGTON, Ky. - The 2009-10 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District 5 Men's and Women's At-Large teams have been announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), with Concordia junior golfers Nick Jarrett (Woodbury, Minn.), Molly Noser (Rochester, Minn.) and Kaytie Spangler (Ely, Minn.) being selected by the sports information directors in the fifth district. Jarrett was selected to the First Team on the men's side while Noser and Spangler were Second Team selections for the women. The Academic At-Large teams consist of multiple sports with Concordia's golfers achieving a high standing with a large pool of qualified student-athletes.

May. 05 - PALM DESERT, Calif. - In their first appearance at the NCAA Division II Men's Golf Central/West Regional, the Concordia men's golf team maintained consistent solid scores throughout the three round, 54 hole event that featured the 20 best teams from the Central and West regions. They played a 310, 309 and 310 and finished just 42 strokes out of the top-five to advance to nationals. Of the four Northern Sun schools at the regional, Concordia finished second, 21 strokes behind 11th place St. Cloud State. FULL RESULTS

May. 04 - PALM DESERT, Calif. - Despite a one stroke improvement to a 309 in the second round of the NCAA Central/West Regional at The Classic Club, the Concordia men's golf team slipped one position to 17th at the 20 team regional. In their first NCAA postseason team appearance, the men have played consistently and have played well. Junior Nick Jarrett (Woodbury, Minn.) led CU in round two by playing +2 golf over 18 holes. In a crowded tournament field of talented teams, Concordia is only 15 strokes off the cut to make Nationals as the fifth place tie between #6 Cal State Stanislaus, #13 UC Colorado Springs and #11 Western Washington are shooting a 594. May. 03 - PALM DESERT, Calif. - Making their first trip to NCAA postseason play, the Concordia men's golf team debuted with a solid round by shooting a 310 (+22) and are 15 strokes off the cut to advance to nationals with 36 holes remaining at the 2010 NCAA Division II Men's Golf Central/West Regional hosted by California State University San Bernardino. The Golden Bears were paced by sophomore Jeremy Tetrault (Forest Lake, Minn.) and junior Cory Pike (Princeton, Minn.) who played +2 and +3 rounds, respectively, at The Classic Club.
