Mauer, the younger brother of head coach Mark Mauer, is a 1988 graduate of St. Paul Harding and played college football for St. Cloud State. He is a 1993 graduate of SCSU and played in the European League of American Football in 1994 and 1995. He will work with the wide receivers in his fifth season at CU.
