Offense Cruises to Win in Spring Game
May. 02 - ST. PAUL, Minn. - In the last scheduled Concordia athletic event at James Griffin Stadium, the Concordia offense marched to a 38-10 win over the defense in the 2009 Spring Game. The Golden Bears alternated series between their two quarterbacks from the 2008 season, as Mitch Brecke (Maple Grove, Minn.) and Spencer Ohm (Blooming Prairie, Minn.) split the action as signal callers.
CU Football to Begin Spring Ball
Apr. 01 - ST. PAUL, Minn. - With their former weight room already demolished as the construction of their new home, Sea Foam Stadium, well underway, the Concordia University football team is set to begin their spring season this Friday in what will be their last experience at Griffin Stadium. The team will practice Monday-Wednesday-Friday-Saturday throughout April before competing in their Spring Game on Saturday, May 2 at 2:00 p.m. at "The Griff."
Recruiting Class Grows to 35 with Three Additions

PAUL, Minn. - The Concordia University recruiting class continues to flourish well into March as the coaching staff announced that three more student-athletes have committed to join the Golden Bear football program in 2009: Steven Davis (Harvey, Ill.), Bubba McGill (Modesto, Calif.) and Christian Wade (Eden Prairie, Minn.). 2009 Recruiting Class Continues Growth, Now at 32
Mar. 04 - ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Concordia football staff has announced the additions of Conor Joyce (Chicago, Ill.) and David Webster (Maple Grove, Minn.) to the 2009 Golden Bear Recruiting Class, pushing the total number of added athletes to 32. Joyce is a defensive back from St. Patrick High School while Webster will transfer for his junior year from North Dakota State College of Science as he looks to compete at defensive line. Freetly Joins 2009 Recruiting Class
