WAYNE, Neb. - The Concordia University men's and women's cross country teams competed in the NCAA Central Regional race this afternoon in Wayne, Neb. CU faced tough competition with many of the top teams in the conference being Central Regional teams. The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference had three teams finish in the top six, including the individual champion, at the NCAA Division II Central Region Cross Country Meet. UMD's Morgan Place won the 6k race with a time of 21:39.

PAUL, Minn. - The Concordia University men's and women's cross country teams will travel to familiar territory, Wayne, Neb. to compete in the NCAA Central Regional Meet which is hosted by Wayne State. After a disappointing finish at the NSIC Championships two weeks ago the cross country runners will look to make improvements in their final race of the season. The Golden Bears will go up against some of the best runners the nation has to offer. The Central Region features Adams State on the men's side who ranks No. 1 in the country in the latest rankings released yesterday.
Golden Bear runners finish 10th and 11th at NSIC Championships
Oct. 24 - BEMIDJI, Minn. - The Concordia University men's and women's cross country teams competed in the NSIC Championship race this afternoon in the northwood of Bemidji, Minn. The Golden Bears invaded the Greenwood Golf Course with intentions of moving their way up the list and improve on their finish from last season. The men's squad finished 11th while the women finished 10th in their race. The Golden Bears will pick up competition on Nov. 7 when they travel to Wayne, Neb. to compete in the NCAA Central Regional tournament.

Oct. 23 - ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Concordia University men's and women's cross country teams will travel to Bemidji, Minn. to compete in the NSIC Championships at Greenwood Golf Course this weekend. The meet is scheduled for Saturday, October 24. The women's 6k is set to begin at 11 a.m. while the men will follow with the start of their 8k race at 12 p.m. COURSE MAP
Snow doesn't stop Golden Bear Improvement
Oct. 10 - DULUTH, Minn. - It was a cold snowy day in Northeastern Minnesota, but the weather didn't stop the Golden Bears from noteworthy improvement. Led by Concordia's women runners, the meet featured season best times run by 60% of the entire Golden Bear squad. The ladies team showed a drastic 1 minute and 19 second per runner average improvement over the two weeks since the last time they raced the 6 kilometer race.
