Exhibition at Minnesota Date Changed
Sep. 30 - ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Concordia University women's basketball coach Paul Fessler has announced that the exhibition game at the University of Minnesota has been changed to Sunday, November 2 at 2:00 p.m. The game will still be played at Williams Arena.
Fessler Ranked 9th Winningest Active Coach
Sep. 25 - INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Concordia University women's basketball coach, Paul Fessler, is the ninth winningest active coach by percentage in the NCAA Division II. With a winning mark of .7295, Fessler trails only Northern State's Curt Fredrickson (.7559) among coaches in the region. He enters his ninth season at the helm of the Concordia program.
Defending NSIC Champions Release 2008-09 Schedule
Jul. 21 - Concordia University head women's basketball coach Paul Fessler has announced the 2008-09 schedule for the back-to-back Northern Sun regular season and tournament champions. The Golden Bears will play a 30 game regular season schedule with their inclusion in the 2008 Disney's Division II West Coast Tip-Off Classic to open their regular season slate Nov. 7-9 in Anaheim, Calif.
Supernaw, Duncan to Suit-Up for CU in 2008-09
May. 08 - Concordia University head women's basketball coach Paul Fessler has announced that Kelly Supernaw of Delavan, Wis. has signed a National Letter of Intent while Shandrell Duncan has decided to transfer to CU from NCAA Division I IUPUI (Indiana Univ. Purdue Univ. at Indianapolis).
LaViolette Awarded NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship
May. 01 - Concordia University women's basketball standout point guard Katie LaViolette (Manitowoc, Wis.) is one of 29 female student-athletes who competed during the winter season to receive an NCAA postgraduate scholarship. She will join the women's basketball coaching staff as a Graduate Assistant in 2008-09.
