2009-10 Schedule Announced

Three Commit to CU for 2009-10
May. 05 - ST. PAUL, Minn. - Concordia University head men's basketball coach Kelly Boe has announced the addition of three student-athletes to the squad for the upcoming 2009-10 season. All three will be freshmen next year, Maurice Hernandez (West St. Paul, Minn.) of Sibley High School, Taylor Steinbauer of Owatonna High School and Isaiah Thomas from Fridley High School.
Heiman Earns All-Region Honors
Mar. 12 - MOORHEAD, Minn. - Junior forward Craig Heiman (Marshall, Wis.) was named 2008-09 Daktronics All-Central Region Second Team, as voted on by sports information directors from the Northern Sun and Rocky Mountain conferences.
Heiman and Cunningham Earn All-NSIC Selections
Mar. 05 - ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference has announced the 2008-09 All-NSIC First and Second Teams as well as the individual award winners. The two teams consist of 10 players each and are selected by the league coaches. Concordia University earned two selections with junior forward Craig Heiman (Marshall, Wis.) repeating as an All-NSIC First Team selection while junior guard Mike Cunningham (Minneapolis, Minn.) was an All-NSIC Second Team selection. Second Half Warrior Surge Drops Golden Bears
Mar. 04 - WINONA, Minn. - The Golden Bears had the defending NCAA Division II National Champions in a 10 point hole at the intermission, holding a 44-34 lead. But #25 Winona State came out of the gates in the second half ready to continue their reign in the Northern Sun, bursting to a 23-4 run over the first six and a half minutes of play to build a nine point lead on their way to defeating Concordia University 87-79 at McCown Gymnasium in the NSIC/Sanford Health Men's Basketball Tournament First Round.
