The Bears were in third after a strong day one as they shot a 325. They improved their score on day two, shooting a 323 but everyone in the field also improved their scores, dropping CU to fifth with a final score of 648.
They were led by Nick Gallaway and his consistency as he shot a 77-77=154, finishing just two strokes away from being named all-NSIC as the top eight finishers earned all-conference honors.Steven Atwood finished second on the team with a 81-78=159, five strokes ahead of Dan Johnson's 80-84=164. The Bears were rounded out by Matt Alford and Lance Meyer who shot identical rounds of 87-84=171.
The Bears have one more outing this fall when they face off against Upper Iowa at the Collegiate Cup Matches at Deacons Lodge Golf Course in Brainerd, Minn. on October 14-15.
