ST. PAUL, Minn. - This week, the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference released the 2009 NSIC Fall All-Academic Teams with 30 student-athletes representing four sports being named to the teams. The football team had the most with 12 selections while women's soccer had 10, volleyball came in with six and women's country had a pair of honorees. FULL 2009 NSIC FALL ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM
The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference has announced its All-Academic Teams for the 2009 fall athletic season. To be eligible for this honor, the student-athlete must be a member of the varsity traveling team and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or better. Furthermore, The athlete must have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at her/his institution (true freshmen, red-shirt freshmen and ineligible athletic transfers are not eligible) and must have completed at least one full academic year at that institution.
