Heiman Recognized Nationally

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- For the second time during the preseason, junior forward Craig Heiman (Marshall, Wis.) was recognized on the National scene, this time being named one of 25 Division II Top Players by the Basketball Times. The Golden Bears open the season with an exhibition at St. John's University on Saturday, November 8 at 4:00 p.m.

Heiman was already named a Street & Smith's Preseason All-America Honorable Mention earlier this fall. Of the 25 players recognized Nationally, Heiman joins Jake Morrow of Minnesota State and the NSIC Preseason Player of the Year Kevin Ratzsch of Northern State as the three players from the NSIC on the 25 player list. USC-Aiken's Chris Commons was tabbed as the Basketball Times Preseason Player of the Year.
