ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Concordia University men's and women's basketball teams officially open the 2008-09 season on Tuesday at midnight.  All fans are invited to participate in this year's Hoops Madness festivities and have the opportunity to win a flat screen TV!

The action for this year's Hoops Madness begins outside the Gangelhoff Center on Tuesday evening at 11:00 pm with a hot dog cookout.  The events move into the basketball arena around 11:40 pm with performances from the CU drumline and performance team and chances for fans to win prizes with special contests.  The teams will be introduced at 12:00 am, followed by contests with fans and players.  There will be three-point shooting, dunk and hot shots contests.  The night wraps up with a raffle for the night's biggest giveaway, a flat screen TV.  Every fan in attendance will have a chance to win.  Must be in attendance to claim prize.
