Heiman Tabbed a Street & Smith Preseason All-America Honorable Mention

Craig HeimanConcordia University junior forward Craig Heiman (Marshall, Wis.), the NSIC's overall scoring leader in 2007-08, was picked as a 2008-09 Street & Smith's Preseason All-America Honorable Mention selection.

Concordia's scoring leader became the fourth player to put up at least 500 points in a single season last year on his way to securing All-NSIC First Team honors in one of the best men's basketball conferences in the nation.

From the NSIC, Northern State's Kevin Ratzsch was a second team selection on the Preseason All-America team, while Minnesota State's Jake Morrow, St. Cloud State's Matt Schneck and Minnesota Duluth's Brian Sykora also made the honorable mention honors.

Street & Smith's recognized two Preseason Division II All-America teams, each consisting of five players, while naming 31 players to the honorable mention post.
