ST. PAUL, Minn. - Concordia University's Maggie McNamara (Zumbrota, Minn.) has been named this week's NSIC Setter of the Week, the fifth such honor for the junior this season.  McNamara had another outstanding weekend in leading the #1-ranked Golden Bears to two wins over ranked teams last weekend, averaging 15.00 assists and 3.00 digs per game.

McNamara had 62 assists and eight digs along with an ace serve, solo block and a kill against #22 ranked Augustana College on Friday evening.  She fed 58 assists and had 16 digs against the #23 Wayne State Wildcats on Saturday, keeping her hitters happy and also giving the CU defense a boost.  McNamara currently leads all setters in the nation with 13.22 assists per set and has helped the Golden Bears remain the top hitting team in the country (15.21 kills per set).  On the season, McNamara has accumulated 1,216 assists and 233 digs.
