ST. CLOUD, Minn. - The Concordia University Men's Golf team finished round 1 of the SCSU Husky Classic in 8th place. The Golden Bears shot for a score of 310, +22 par. CU finds themselves just 16 strokes behind the leader, Bemidji State. In a close field after round 1 the Golden Bears are right in the middle of the pack and capable of moving up the leader board in round 2. ROUND 1 RESULTS
Four CU golfers finished in a tie for 21st after round 1. The Golden Bears were led by Cory Pike (Jr., Princeton, Minn.) who shot a 77, +5 par. Freshman John Potter (Woodbury, Minn.) also shot a 77. Jeremy Tetrault (So., Forest Lake, Minn.) and Alex Timm (Jr., Hopkins, Minn.) both tied for 21st and both shot a 77, +5 par.
