ST. PAUL, Minn. - Senior Anne Martin (Ramsey, Minn.) has been named NSIC Women's Co-Golfer of the Week, in an announcement made by the league today. Martin garnered the recognition for her performance in the Augustana Invitational this past weekend. The senior earned her first career medallist honor as a Golden Bear. NSIC RELEASE

Martin moved her way up the poll after finishing round 1 in a tie for second-place. She takes home her first career medalist honor as a Golden Bear. Martin finished the tournament 1 stroke over what she shot in round 1. Her steady play allowed her to end up with a tie for 1st. Martin finished with +9 par and a two-day score of 151. The senior paced the Golden Bears to their first tournament victory of the season, while defending their title from the Augustana Fall Invite a season ago. She set the pace for the Golden Bears who broke two school records during the Augustana Invite. CU broke their single round record by shooting a 305 in round 2. In the process, the Golden Bears broke a two-round school record with their two-day total score of 612.

The Golden Bears return to action this weekend when they host the Concordia University Invitational at Tartan Park Golf Course in Lake Elmo, Minn. CU looks to defend their championship at their own tournament.
