LAKE ELMO, Minn. -- The Golden Bear women's golf team is tied for first place out of 11 teams after one round at the Concordia University Wildwood Lodge Fall Invitational played at Tartan Park Golf Club on Sunday afternoon. Senior Jacquelyn Hauser (Caledonia, Minn.) is in a three way tie for second place to lead the squad. Round One Results

Battling the wind and rain, Hauser fired a 78, finishing six over par. She is one stroke off the lead, held by Winona State's Megan Placko, who shot a 77 (+5). Concordia is tied with North Dakota, now an NCAA Division I provisional institution.

The second round of play wraps up the invitational tomorrow with a shotgun start in the morning.
