A first half goal by the Warriors took the decision and sets Concordia's overall record at 3-4. WSU is 4-1 on the season. The Golden Bears open the NSIC season at Wayne State next Saturday.
Winona took five shots on goal in a dominant first half. They had 11 shots overall, while the Golden Bears went without a single shot. It was a Martha Curtiss goal just six minutes into the meeting that decided the game. Concordia got off two shots in the second half, both on-goal from Katie Johnson and Kari Janes. Keyton Wheelock stopped four of the five shots on goal and took the loss.
