Sep. 11– Concordia junior Jacquelyn Hauser finished fifth of 91 golfers to lead the Bears to a tenth-place finish at the two-day Drury Regional Shootout at the Reivercut Golf Course (par 72-5897 yards) in Springfield, MO. Hauser shot a 77-78=155 to finish seven strokes off the medalist Rachel Schmidt's 75-73-148 of Upper Iowa.
As a team the Bears finished tenth of 18 Division II teams and behind Upper Iowa from the NSIC as the top team from the league. The Bears shot a two-day total of 333-333=666. Tarleton College took team honors with a 305-319=624. Upper Iowa finished with a 325-320=644.
The Bears will host the Concordia Invite on Sept. 16-17 at Tartan Park in Lake Elmo.
