Bears Get Three More Commitments for 2007-08

Aug. 01– Concordia track coach Jarred Sampson has announced that Angelina Hutter, Cameron Husom and Brian Kohlman will compete for the Golden Bears track and field team in 2007-08. 

Hutter, from Durand High school in Arkansaw, Wis., placed second at the 2007 state meet in the shot put and was a four-year letterwinner in track.  She was also the team MVP all four years.

Husom, a middle-distance runner from Cambridge, Minn., was an all-conference performer in track in 2007 and honorable-mention in track and cross country in 2006 for the Cambridge-Isanti Bluejackets.

Kohlman was a four-year letterwinner in track at Kiel High School in Kiel, Wis.  He also earned two letters in cross country.  Kohlman was the team MVP in track and was  a member of the section champion relay team in the 1600m and the school-record 800m relay team.

They join a Golden Bears team that finished fourth in the NSIC in men's track, while the women finished seventh at the outdoor championships.
