ST. PAUL, Minn. - Concordia University head men's basketball coach Kelly Boe has released the schedule for the 2009-10 season. The schedule features 15 of 27 games played at home at Gangelhoff Center including 10 of the first 14. FULL SCHEDULE

The home boost is two more than the 2008-09 season when they went 9-4 on their home floor. They open the season on Saturday, November 21 against the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. The game against UWP will count as a regional contest in NCAA play as a border matchup.

Concordia's other Division II non-conference opponents are against Augustana and the University of Mary at the NSIC Hoops Fest on November 28-29 in Sioux Falls, S.D. and a home contest against Regis University from the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference on Saturday, December 19.

Rounding out CU's non-conference slate are home games against Valley City State (ND) on Nov. 24, Judson (IL) University on Dec. 18 and the University of St. Thomas on Dec. 22.

The Golden Bears Northern Sun slate is tipped off at home against Upper Iowa on Friday, December 4 before entertaining Winona State the following evening.

Postseason play features the top eight teams in the final Northern Sun standings in the NSIC Tournament played on March 3, 6 and 7 while the NCAA Central Regional is March 13-16 followed by the NCAA Elite Eight March 24-27.

The Golden Bears finished 2008-09 with a 13-15 overall record and an 11-9 league mark.
