May. 16– The Concordia baseball team (27-15), winners of the NSIC's automatic bid, will be the #6 seed in the NCAA Central Region Tournament and will face Minnesota State University Mankato today at noon in an elimination game on Glennen Field at the Trusler Sports Complex in Emporia, Kan. The regionals will be comprised six teams competing in double-elimination tournaments. Eight regional competitions will be played May 15-18, at eight on-campus sites. Regional champions will advance to the double-elimination championship finals May 24-31 at GCS Ballpark in Sauget, Illinois, which will be hosted by Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville and the University of Missouri, St. Louis
