ST. PAUL, Minn. - The national championship Concordia University volleyball team had a special night at the Metrodome on Monday, April 27, throwing out the first pitch against the Tampa Bay Rays.  Seniors Whitney Meierotto and Maria Steinhagen had the opportunity to stand on the mound to throw the ceremonial pitches, with their teammates behind them to cheer them on.  This is the second annual such appearance for the Golden Bears, who have won back-to-back NCAA Division II national championship titles.
