Nuernberg Commits to Golden Bears

Apr. 16– Concordia University head men's and women's golf coach Matt Higgins has announced that Kiley Nuernberg of Rosemount, Minn. has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Golden Bear women's golf program for the 2008-09 season.

Nuernberg was a four time all-Lake Conference performer for the Irish at Rosemount High School, also earning Rookie of the Year, MVP and Hardest Worker honors. She was a two-time Miss Irish selection and a two-time McDonald's Athlete of the Week. She produced the team's low score and was second in school history in all-conference awards.

Off the course, Nuernberg has compiled numerous high school academic achievements incluidng earnind Outstanding Scholar Athlete honors as well as being a three-time academic all-conference pick.

She will join a Concordia women's golf program that has received multiple national rankings as they currently compete in the Spring season, preparing for the Spring portion of the NSIC Championships tomorrow and Friday in Yankton, S.D.
