Apr. 15– Concordia sophomore John Pimental (Ripon, WI) broke James McNear's 2005 long jump record by nearly a foot with a leap of 23-0 3/4 to win the event at the Cobber Twilight Meet Tuesday, hosted by Concordia College in Moorhead.  The previous school record was 22-2 1/2.

Junior Tre Sayles (Woodbury, MN) also won the triple jump with a jump of 46-4.
