Golden Bears Shine in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. - The Concordia University women's golf team opened their Spring slate by firing a team score of 325 and are in second place at Yankee Hills Country Club while the men shot a 306 and are tied for fifth at Wilderness Ridge, site of the NCAA Central Regional. Both teams faced a challenging field comprised of numerous NSIC competitors. On the women's side, junior Anne Martin (Ramsey, Minn.) made her CU debut by leading CU in the first of two rounds by firing a 78 while the men were led by sophomore Nick Jarrett (Woodbury, Minn.) who shot a 73. Both teams complete their Lincoln slate tomorrow.
