COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. - The Concordia track & field teams won four events in the first outdoor event of the season, the St. John's Invite.  Despite battling chilly weather all day, one school record fell with Kaysee Nesmoe winning the discus throw, wheeling her way to a 117 foot, 10 inch throw.  This breaks her own previous record of 115'7".

Among the other top placewinners at Saturday's event was Diahn Zeon with a 22.41 second run in the 200 meter dash.  The Golden Bears won the high jump on both the men's and women's sides, with John Pimental leaping 5 feet, 11.5 inches and Hayley Reed clearing 5 feet, 1 inch.  Reed's jump is just 3/4 of an inch away from the Concordia record.

The men's team got a big win in the 4x100m relay, topping the list of participating teams with a race finish of 41.65 seconds.  The team is led by John Pimental, Kawaskii Bacon, Diahn Zeon and anchored by Robert Spence.
