Missouri Weather Forces Schedule Change

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Concordia University head men's and women's golf coach Matt Higgins has announced that due to weather conditions in Northern Missouri that the Golden Bear men and women will be playing in Lincoln, Neb. this weekend. Missouri Western State, the host of the men's and women's invites this weekend, has cancelled play and will also be playing in Lincoln. The men will be playing at Wilderness Ridge, site of the NCAA Central Regional while the women will play at Yankee Hills Country Club. The teams will still play on Sunday and Monday.

On the men's side, joining Concordia and MWSU are Upper Iowa, Wayne State, Winona State, Minnesota-Crookston, Bemidji State, Truman State and St. Cloud State.

The women will have CU, MWSU, Upper Iowa, Wayne State, Winona State, Truman State and St. Cloud State.

The tournament fields are expected to be strong on both sides. The Concordia women, NSIC Championship leaders, will be opening their Spring slate while the men will be playing in their second competition of the Spring season.
