Mar. 04– For the first time in her career, Concordia junior Jenny Kaminski (Columbia Heights, MN) earned NSIC Pitcher of the Week honors after going 4-1 for the Golden Bears while in Fort Myers, Florida and improving to 6-1 on the young season.

Jenny Kaminski went 4-1 in Florida with a 1.64 ERA and improved to 6-1 on the young season. She allowed just eight runs, six earned in 25.2 innings pitched. In six games, Kaminski held opponents batting average to .216, while giving up 23 hits. She pitched a complete game shutout in the Golden Bears 4-0 win over Alma, allowing six hits and striking out seven. She allowed two hits in games against Mercyhurst and Alma. Kaminski finished the trip with 14 strikeouts and five walks.
