Feb. 23– In their final tune-up before the NSIC Indoor Championships, the Golden Bears travelled to the University of Minnesota Fieldhouse to compete in the Parent's Day Open.  Concordia posted five top ten perfomances on the day, led by sophomore Katie Johnson (Ramsey, MN).

Johnson earned a third-place finish in the long jump with a leap of 17-2 3/4 and a fifth-place finish in the 200m dash, running 26.30.  Senior Kaitlin Hartnett (Omaha, NE) earned a fourth-place finish in the 600m run finishing in a time of 1:40.15.

The Golden Bears will now finish the 2008 indoor season on Feb. 29-Mar. 1 at the NSIC Championships hosted by Bemidji State.
