James Metcalf averaged a double-double for the second straight weekend, leading the team with 16.0 points per game and 10.5 rebounds per game as the Golden Bears split at home. In an 86-59 win over the University of Mary, Metcalf scored 19 points and had eight rebounds. He shot 66.7% (8-12) from the floor and buried 3-6 from behind the arc. He also dished out four assists and had a pair of steals. The following night, in a 60-52 loss to #6 Northern State, he had 13 points and 13 rebounds, seven coming on the offensive glass. He hit 2-3 from three-point range against the Wolves as well. For the week, Metcalf shot 54.2% (13-24) from the field and 55.5% (5-9) from three-point distance. He dished out five assists in the two games.
