Jamros will be in his seventh year contributing to the Concordia University athletic department. In the summer of 2007, Jamros joined the athletic staff on a full time basis as he was named the Assistant Director of Athletics for Development.
He will be responsible for athletic fundraising, corporate sponsorship and the C-Club. In addition, Jamros will be in charge of the annual Golden Bear golf tournaments and the annual fundraising "Put Me in, Coach" dinners.
Prior to his full time appointment, Jamros served as Graduate Assistant Athletic Director, where he worked on a day-to-day basis in the athletic administration. He assumed various roles during his graduate assistant tenure, including radio play-by-play and color commentary, game management duties and organizing in-game sponsors and promotions at home events.
Jamros transferred to Concordia from Northern Colorado and was a star on the hardwood for the men's basketball program. He went on to earn all-NSIC first team honors during his junior and senior seasons and was Concordia University's Athlete of the Year in 2004-05. Jamros also served as the Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC) President from 2002-04 and was a Faculty Advisor for SAAC in 2006.
After a medical redshirt sophomore season, Jamros went on to finish second all-time on the Concordia scoring charts with 1,371 points in his three-plus seasons. He closed out his career with a 15.2 scoring average whie sinking 245 three-pointers. He holds school records for most points in a season (529, 2003-04) and three-point field goals (107, 2004-05). He led the Bears to an 18-11 finish during his senior year, including the school's first-ever NSIC Tournament victory.
In 2005, he earned his bachelor of arts degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in sport management and is continuing completion of a master of arts degree in organizational management at Concordia.
Jamros resides in Apple Valley, Minn. and is a graduate of Moose Lake High School.
