Track- Men also garner two USTFCCCA Academic Selections
Jul. 30 – NEW ORLEANS, La. - The USTFCCCA released the 2009-10 Division II All-Academic honorees on the men's side, and a day after the CU women had a pair of athletes honored, the men's team also has two honorees on this year's list that includes 156 athletes at the Division II level. For the CU men, it was senior John Pimental (Ripon, Wis.) and junior Domonique Gilmer (Minneapolis, Minn.). FULL USTFCCCA MEN'S TEAM

Jul. 29 – NEW ORLEANS, La. - The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has released the 2009-10 USTFCCCA Division II All-Academic honorees, with Concordia University seniors Katie Johnson (Ramsey, Minn.) and Jayme Wyss (Clear Lake, Wis.) earning distinction. Volleyball- National Champs Achieve High Academic Success Once Again
Jul. 21 – LEXINGTON, Ky. - The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) has announced that 450 volleyball teams earned the AVCA Team Academic Award for the 2009-10. Three-time defending Division II champion Concordia University is one of 55 NCAA Division II programs to earn the honor, the highest number of DII teams ever to achieve the honor. AVCA RELEASE
GolfW- Concordia Women Ranked 12th in NGCA All-Scholar Teams
Jul. 19 – CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - The 2009-10 NGCA All-Scholar Team GPA Awards have been announced, with the University of Indianapolis and their 3.752 team GPA taking home top honors. The NGCA also released the top-25 teams as ranked by GPA in the nation, among all divisions. Concordia, an NCAA Division II member, ranked 12th overall and are the 4th ranked team in NCAA Division II golf after being the top-ranked team in D-II last season. NGCA TEAM GPA AWARD RELEASE

May. 25 – ST. PAUL, Minn. - The closing of the 2009-10 athletic year at Concordia University comes with the achievements of the Male and Female Athletes of the Year. The awards were announced in April at the first annual CSPY's Awards ceremony at Buetow Auditorium on campus. The Concordia athletic department selected Brenden Furrow (Sr., Baseball) as the Male Athlete of the Year while volleyball seniors Mary Slinger and Maggie McNamara were chosen as Co-Female Athletes of the Year.
